Vance accepted Christ and was baptized in 1977, served for a time at the Church of Christ in Chester, PA then Community Bible Church in Pocono Lakes, PA before becoming a member of Bible Fellowship Church of Newark, DE in 2003 where he met Jean. They were married on August 21, 2004.
There he served on the worship team, spearheaded the purchase and renovation of a property which would become a missions house for the church, and he and Jean served on a Nursing Home ministry with the Associate Pastor and his wife.
Vance is passionate about the worship ministry and views it as a gateway for discipleship as well as a service to the congregation. Team members are encouraged and nurtured to grow not only in their giftings, but in their spiritual and emotional development, their relationships with one another and with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
