Lisa Sharp was born in the great state of Florida. She was put into foster care at the age of 2 and is the 7th of 8 siblings. She was adopted at the age of 3 years old and at an early age she felt God’s call on her life. While in high school, Lisa received her LPN license. Upon graduating high school she served 6 years in the United States Army as a heavy wheel mechanic and served in the first Gulf War. Upon leaving the service she entered into the nursing field.
For 10 years she directed the toddler ministry at Freedom Bible Church, developing a loving, fun and exciting program to teach God’s love in an age appropriate manner. Aside from children’s ministry the homeless and the elderly have always had a special place in her heart as well. Lisa is very active in New Hope Community Church’s Homeless Outreach ministry. She believes that serving the community is one of the most important roles the church has in today’s world.
Lisa now serves as the Director of Children’s Ministry, teaching God’s love and grace to children of all ages. She is married to Gary Sharp and together they raise their 6 amazing children. She believes that how we live life is the best witness and example of God’s love we can have.
