Deanne grew up in Illinois and says she vividly remembers hearing and understanding the Gospel message at age 6 and receiving Jesus as her Savior. But it wasn’t until she went away to college in Michigan, and became involved with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship that she began to understand the Lordship of Christ. Following graduation, Deanne began working with students involved with InterVarsity in a variety of ways: as a member of an evangelistic team, a campus staff member and finally as the Training Conference Coordinator for the state of Michigan.

For the past 14 years, Deanne has been working in Nursing Homes, first as a Nurses Aid, and currently in Social Services. Deanne has always been involved in the church. She has participated in prayer teams, volunteered in children’s ministries, served on a variety of Leadership Teams, and has sung in many choirs and praise teams. Currently, Deanne says she is honored to be a part of New Hope’s worship team!
